    I had to sew it... it was a pain in the ass but it worth it... it’s been 10k since I installed and it still feels like new... sometimes I wash it with a damped cloth.. I watched a lot of videos on YouTube before.. I had no previous experience sewing...

    Thanks! It took me about 6 hours... it was painful but I would do it again on my next cars... I removed the wheel completely because I didn’t wanted to be seated in the car 6 hours at 80 degrees but is not that good because you need something to hold the wheel while you’re sewing the cover... if you guys have patience do it!

    I needed to do this 30k miles ago. My steering wheel is getting all shiny and I hate it.
    I have not been able to find a continuous roll of tape long enough. Closest thing was hockey stick tape but not exactly what I wanted.
    If any one finds a source of tennis racquet tape in 5-8 ft length, please share.
    My plan is to leave the backing on it and tightly wrap the steering wheel. Finished off bottom center with safety wire.

    They have closed most of the sports stores around here.
    Now all we have I think Is Big5 and like Dicks.

    I would pry have to go to a tennis shop for something like that.

    Never knew about these. I'll have to get one on the wife's truck! Her cover right now is one of those fat a$$ covers from Autozone. It's like gripping a nalgene bottle while driving.
