Low angle pics look the best IMO. On my Instagram I've got most of mine that angle

 

Yeah like others have said get low! A rule I use is try to get 3 - 4 wheels in your picture. Like your first round, you can see 3 -4 wheels and makes for a good stance. The second batch a little high which leads to seeing only 2 wheels. Kind of like your signature now, can see two wheels so it is not as aggressive stance like Zac and Josh. I can make one of the first batch ones work if you want a signature within the next couple days, or you can try to take another one this weekend, your call!

^^ this. Can see 3 wheels too so makes for a great signature stance

 

I tried to take a few more pics like that, but even with a cloudy sky I kept getting the "glare" on the truck.

Guess I suck at taking pics... I have no problem in admitting that.

 

Up to you Josh. I definitely like the pics in the first batch a lot better/more. Whatever you think is best, since you're the expert. I'm in no rush, so whatever you want to do. Might be hard to get better pics with less "glare" in the next few days since it looks like we'll be in the 80s and sunny everyday.

I will cut out one of the first pictures and see how much I can edit it to make it look clean. If it is too washed out I will ask for another.

Also another couple things is to take a picture with 'soft light' as in a few minutes before sunrise or few minutes after sunset.
If taking during day, try to take the picture of the truck with the sun behind you, not behind the truck. This will not allow the truck to be washed out by a bright sun in the background
Also with that, taking a picture of the truck with bright blue sky behind it can affect the washed outness. Like on your phone if you are taking a picture and press on a dark subject to focus on that, it will expose more light to it making the brighter background wash into the subject

Good point. If it's too bright, it'll shine. If it's too dark, then you can't see it.

It's a lose/lose battle.

 

Cloudy days are actually great days to take photos of you car, as the clouds act as a natural light filter. Most of the glare was on the hood, a lower angle will help that. Also try to position your truck so that the sun is behind you, this will prevent your entire image from being washed out by too much light shining into your lense. A good time to take photos of your truck will be 1 hour before sunset, or 1 hour after sunrise.

So to recap.... For the best pic

• Wash your truck first!
• go 1 hour after sunrise or 1 hour before sunset
  
• Make sure the sun is behind you
• walk around your truck to find the angle you like best (if you can only see 3 wheels it is usually a good angle)
• bend those knees and get a low angle shot
• Take multiple shots from different angles and heights.

 

I tired, and it just does not look good. The first set has good angles, too much exposure. Second set, not great angles but better exposure that I could work with haha
When you get a chance take few more. If using a phone, if you have to tap your truck to focus the camera on it, it will probably lead to too much exposure

You could always just touch them up too. I like to use the snapseed app on my phone

Also a good polarized filter really helps cut the glare and make the pictures pop.
