    Cruising over to my buddy's house I give it at most half throttle to build some boost in third. Didn't feel a thing. Stopped at his house and oil was just pouring out on the ground. Have a hole about a 1/4" out the bottom. Like a small pea gravel shot out or something. Truck broke in the first 15 miles.

    I'll see if the junkyard will swap it out or I'll just have it gone through. None of my stuff failed. Just got a beat up transmission. Should be up and going in a few weeks after I make some calls.

    This was my thinking as well. Luck of the draw, and just happened to be a bad transmission. Proves that all of your work was solidly executed though. :thumbsup:

    I usually can limp home. Never saw a Toyota r series do this. I'm thinking foreign object since it ran so well and smooth.

    Must have been a foreign object, with all the clutch dumps I do on stock power with my W59 I can imagine one of these may be in my future when I've added boost. Ever since I got the Land Cruiser the Taco has been open season for modding and the turbo keeps calling my name. Done turbo setups with and for a couple buddies but never for anything of my own, the time is near.... so I'm sure I'll be picking your brain.

    Haha, I've had a couple turbos, intercoolers, and piles of piping kicking around the garage from various past projects but until recently it never occurred to me that I'd want one on the truck. Last setup I worked on was less than inspired thought haha, but a RHB31 on a 93 Subaru Justy, we called it the JuSTi, it was stupid but it made 3cyl choo choo noises and could smoke its 3.5in wide tires on command haha.
