Wondering if going with the 33×10.5 will allow me to fit under a 3.4 inch lift kit with no running compared to the 285/70 which is 11.4 inches wide. Does that width make that big of a difference for rubbing? Also will the 10.5 look to skinny? (2017 Tacoma Off Road with 3.4 inch front bilstein 5100 on second setting with 2888 coils) & 2 inch in rear with add leaf)

Depending on what type of tire you are running (AT, MT, or a hybrid of those), every manufacturer is a little different as far as the width of the tire. Not all 285's are the same width.

It will also depend on your backspacing and offset of your wheels. Running that size of a tire that you are talking about on stock wheels will rub (without wheel spacers), but on an aftermarket wheel with different backspacing and offset you may be ok.

A lot of variables. Wheel off set is a big one for sure. Also like previously said not all 285/70 are exactly the same in size. I like the look of a skinnier tire personally I think a 10.5 would be great. I run 285/70/17 with a 3in lift and had to to slight trimming to not rub. No biggie just a little plastic. No one would even know.
