I used one of the screws/nut that is used on the outer brackets.

For 50 dollars (use to be) your kit is a pretty good deal, but at 80 I feel like the brackets should come prepainted as 80 dollars for 3 small leds is pretty steep.

Why make your tacoma look like a raptor?

Because the amber lights in the grille looks nice. I wasn’t aware it was restricted to Raptors only.

Which fuse is labeled power outlet number 1. Mine have no labels and I couldn’t find it in the manual. Also what size fuse did you use in the tap?

    Bone stock as of now.
@EJ_Taco any pics of the retrofitting done to the BAMF grill? Thinking of pulling the trigger on the grill next month and wondering if I should see if Jerry from Bamf can do the retrofitting in shop before purchasing it.

I did some raptor lights on my new Pro grille I think turned out pretty good. Was pretty cheap to put together.

Their not Raptor lights. They're identification lights. They're required on vehicles wider than 80 inches.

The label should be on the inside of the fuse cover, when you take it off to reveal the fuses.

The kit came with a 3 amp fuse for the lights.

Those are the oznium warm whites I take it..

Still holding solid after a year?

I agree hard to swallow 80 bucks for this mod.. 20 seems much more easy to digest..

Havent had a issue. Made the harness where i could replace just the bulbs easily without having to cut back into the wiring. But havent had the need to. Also i like how you cant even tell they are there unless they are on.

On an impulse buy I bought some cheap amber "identification light" LED's at autozone. They came with a battery to test the lights in the package and these things are super bright. Like bright enough that I am worried I will be blinding cars I am behind at stop lights if i have them pointed straight ahead. I was thinking maybe I can tap the DRL which dim when the headlights are on, that way they are full brightness during the day and dim with the headlights. Will it work that way if I just tap into a DRL wire or would that be a mistake? is there a better way than tapping the wire and still have the lights dim with the headlights? TIA.

I do not sorry. I bought some T brackets from Lowe’s. Screwed each light onto each T and slightly bent the bracket to screw into the top of the inside of the grille. Worked out nicely

Oh I ended up spraying them with krylon flat black to make them blend
