I'm running the shock towers and 2.5x12 king's with resi. Works great! Have 17x8 4.5BS wheels witg 285/75/17 tires with a 2" spacer. Probably could have done a 1.5-1.75" spacer but didn't have those in stock at the time.

I lost track thousands of dollars ago.
Less back spacing the lower the number the further the wheel will be away from the shock body.

The shock kits got a little refresh tabbed for easy assembly.

Are they any noise/movement issues with the shock in upper mount?

I say that because, on the nut side, the nut/bolt isn't clamped to the mount. It is just sitting in this hex cutout. The bolt should be clamping the mount on both sides of the shock mount ideally (like how the lower mount is).

EDIT: Looking at it more, the nut appears to be welded to this piece. Which would fix this concern.

Yes the nuts are welded in place not just loosely in there.

Just pickup your towers at BAMF and drive 35 minutes northwest to @Bentrodder 's house. Not cheap, but definitely reasonable.

    Edit: Like my women.

Edit 2: Maybe not the reasonable part.

@JLee what's the advantage of mounting the shocks on the front of the axle instead of the back? The axle provides some protection from road debris for the shock on the back side.

The only advantage to mount one on the back side is to prevent axle wrap. You wouldn't want both shocks on the back side.

Got my first one welded up, good stuff and easy to assemble.

One question: why doesn't the plate for the nut had a tab that goes half way through the side plates? Would make alignment easier and would make that weld easier to get good person penetration.

The Tab will be added to the next batch we cut. We cut tons of them before we started tabbing the kit.
