Thats the number I originally gave him but with the price increase im sure we will have some people dropping out and thats understandable. I think with the quality and ease of actually getting it to your door would clearly make it worth the price.

@bski22 Add me top of that Treeline list if it ever opens back up. I got an email response from them last week about color discrepancies... the only thing holding me back from making the order in the Treeline GB.

No worries. I appreciate it. At the end of the day this is about getting tents.

Agreed. Keep in mind Luke isn’t going to open this up without commitments. Has to be 30+ to even consider it opening and 50 to have the 25%

If my math is right, its something like 1,313.71 after the 25% discount. I would not be participating at that amount.

Yes he said that he would def have to get the commitments before anything so this isnt something we can jack around on commit or dont commit simple as that.

Just crunching the numbers in my head, for me to get sleeping for 4, (2 adults and 2 teenage daughters) either with 2 tents, or their larger tent, I'd have to be out on the treeline option. Either way I'd be looking at 2200 bucks, at best. Twice as much as what was going to be spent on the SC. I could buy 2 smittybilts for less at full price. My oldest goes to an expensive private college, so I have to be a little cheaper right now.

Those Treeline's look great (103 pounds on the smallest!), but they are definitely in a completely different price point. I am sure there are some of us slightly interested, but I am guessing the minimum # of participants will be the issue.

I think it is safer to assume that NOBODY on this list would be 100% in for the Treeline Group Buy (considering Treeline was also available as a group buy during the course of this one).

That understandable I just wanted to make the option available and yes It will be over a grand for the tent for all those who are wondering.

@Blackout14 IMO had the better backup plan when it came down to Sunday falling through. Honestly, .41$ to escrow this deal sounds fine by me. Shit, a whole dollar extra is fine by me if it gives us protection, couldnt we all then just drop a deposit into the escrow account if PP is being a pain?

The manufacturer is hesitant because theyve never used it but we're working on it.

Apples and oranges. More people are/were interested in a price point and this particular tent was labeled “exactly” CVT I think originally in first few posts. Took a lot of attention off Treeline. Also a different approach from the guys at TL in terms of construction configuration/windows and such.
