I've come to the conclusion the only way I can grab some video/still camera shots is to do something that borders on insane.

Got me a couple spots figured out where that can happen. I'll do the silver double cab crowd proud this trip!

Home. 1 more day a work, then vacation happens. Wed will be sleep late, finish loading tool box. (May include chain saw since Matt won't be there) then finish staging tents/CO2 tank/and filling beer cooler.

Gotta get all our plunder out of the back seat. Our Grandson Mason gets half, then clothes and blankets fill the other side.

Camera gear. Goes on top of that stuff.

Thursday we finish loading. Food and beverages load last. Slow day I hope. Mason gets to or house late in the day.

Friday, we take the dogs to the kennel as soon as they open. I'll feed and water the birds for a 3 day stay as the last thing before we leave. Hoping to be travelling south by 8;30 or 9. It's a 5 hour drive.

    Then we go CRAZY!

I keep my camera in the sky so it doesn't get ran over. Just don't fly it in tight spaces tipsy.

You do that and you'll have plenty of pictures, video, and different angles of it.

Not to mention the constant maintenance they require...Go fast people are a different breed.

Building a mini for crawling can still be done pretty darn inexpensively fortunately

I usually do things slow and un-dramatic. Old man style. It doesn't look picture worthy. Just safe and simple. I have it in me to do some "over the top" kind of stuff, just don't feel the need.

But you can write this down. There will be a few tricks and/or treats this Halloween weekend. Keep your cameras ready.
