Morning all! Yesterday was such a long frigging day that I woke up this morning convinced that it was Wednesday.

Nice to be able to order your truck with what you do and don't want, though.
I have considered upgrading to heated seats (all of the factory components are available online for me to install), but they're honestly not worth the money for me. The GF has them in her Mustang (they're air conditioned too) and I never use either function when I drive her car.
Every time she rides in my vehicle during the winter though she bitches about not having heated seats, so maybe it'll be worth the $$ in a year or two when the parts are cheaper

As for the FX4 package, it does stiffen up the ride some with the different shocks.

Honestly the feature that I probably like the most about the truck is the amount of exterior lighting that it has. Between the bed lights, headlights, puddle lights, and side spotlights on the mirrors I can light up 360 degrees around the truck, which has turned out to be really convenient for me, since during the winter it's dark when I leave the house and dark when I get back, but I have animal-related chores that need doing both in the morning before I leave and in the evening when I get home.

 

So what you're saying is you don't think your girlfriend is worth the money?

 

I bet all the local stores are wondering why the fire extinguisher sales have increased incredibly in the last day...

I have an Autozone and an Adavanced Auto nearby. Any one recommend either place?!

 

I prefer advanced. Just different branding for the same shit though.

Walmart for the one I posted yesterday (also sold at Home Depot). You go to Autozone or Advanced Auto and they will charge you more

Was hoping Autozone or Advanced would be the same price, since they are closer... Walmart is all the way on the other side of town, getting there and back to work on time during my lunch break is almost impossible... Guess I'll have to make a trip to Walmart one day after work, or on the weekend.

 

OR just "borrow" an extinguisher from work...

On another note take a look at this. Check out the 3rd picture down. Do they really think cooking with propane on the straw grass is really all that safe? And seriously how is that cowboy carrying that thing?

 

Not like it's bright red or anything....

 

Or small enough to hide and "borrow".

 

Some of the fellas down in p-town could probably give you some lessons on hiding that....

Yeah.... kinda. Still slow at work, so kinda "bored" right now. Taking advantage of that while I can!

 

I like heated seats a lot. Had them in every vehicle. Maybe the FX4 would be nice to have. Probably wouldn't add much cost on top of 302A and max tow anyway. I liked the suspension of my TRD Sport much better than the SR5s or Off Roads even when it was factory.

I think I saw that the 302A has LED bed lighting as well.
