Thanks! Yeah I figured I got lucky this time, so I should use this as a learning experience and make sure it doesn't happen again!

I was thinking more for the security of it not being loose in the cab. Would hate to see the damage it does in an accident.

That's also a really important point! Both my old one and my new one were secured to my MOLLE panel. I wouldn't want those rolling loose!

I love my new truck but miss my Tacoma
I am ordering one of these mounts. I not worried about mounting it inside the cab because I always leave my windows cracked

The DC storage bins behind the buckets in the RC do a great job of keeping the FE where it needs to stay and is readily available at the flick of the seat back lever in mine..............

That's where I keep my empty growlers, that way I don't forget them at home or don't need to go home first if I decide to hit the brew.

    Great idea!

Also a good idea, but for a different reason!

I would say keep the growler filled and use it as a fire extinguisher, but then that would be alcohol abuse.

Save the ABC for the house or garage and put the BC in the truck. If you need to shoot it under the dash or under the hood the ABC can ruin your truck. Its gets in the electrical components and will corrode them.

That's the plan! I've got 2 ABC fire extinguishers in the apartment, and currently one BC 5lb extinguisher in the truck. I'll pick up another one soon. I was thinking of getting a small one like I had, but I'm now thinking of getting a large one with a rubber hose on it. Not sure yet!

Ok, I got my little "one time use 5, B:C" fire extinguisher in my hot little hand. Did you guys with the Access Cabs find a cool place to mount it?

I mounted mine to my MOLLE panel courtesy of @docloco! There's another round of the GB going on if you're interested. Other folks have mounted them to the floor using the seat bolts.

I was thinking right there might be ok, I know that panel is made of plastic but if all the weight of the extinguisher is resting on the platform it should be ok there, I think.20171027_075852.jpg

That's the exact same extinguisher I used on Monday! And with it's size, you could even stash it in a door cubby. You just want to make sure it's secure and easy to get to.

That's the whole point of my post! I'm glad to see a few people get fire extinguishers because of my mistakes!
