I put one in my 1998. It came from a Nissan Titan/X-Terra. Most of the connectors are different, but it may be as easy as repinning your existing cord to fit a different connector. Has Homelink, Temperature, and Compass.

I basically made the harness from scratch by myself from the Nissan pigtail.

How is having a homelink different than having a garage door remote in your truck? Remote can be pressed and given the same results as the homelink if the truck is broken into.

I suppose it's the same if you're dumb enough to do that. I for one use a keyfob type opener that stays on my keychain.

Can guarantee you 90% of the people who have a automatic garage door opener leave the remote in their truck.

Garage door opener was getting intermittent, even with new batteries. I was disappointed that the TRD Sport technology package did not include the Homelink. Since I park it inside, I wanted to get get the Gentex mirror. Glad I did, plug and play. Programming was slow due to the bad existing opener. But, when done it works great.

Same. Programming was a bit tough. Be sure to erase any previous programming first.

Guess my 2010 tundra, my 2015 highlander my 2017 camry all do/did work without ignition also my parents 2015 sequoia same think, so I think most if not all factory homelink work without ignition on.

So where did you get your Gentex mirrors from? I need blue display - wish I could get blue backlit buttons but for some reason the price goes WAY up for that!

I guess I should have prefaced that by saying Toyota homelink, although I know some Gm homelink work without ignition on too.
