Same problem here. This time of year it's always hectic, and we're short 3 people this year. :goingcrazy:

Not nearly as pricey as the Hennessey we're talking about...

WRX has a lip, not a wing. STI comes with a wing, but the limited trim has the option of a lip. Or just find a dweeb with a WRX that wants to trunk-swap with you.

You just don't want to let the love of Subaru into your heart, and I get it.. You'll come around eventually.

Solid plan, I'll be here when the time comes

Absolutely man, I'll make it happen. Text me @uurx!

Never been a huge Forester fan, but at least with those older models with oil consumption issues, Subaru is stepping up to take care of them. I've seen them cover a vehicle with a new short block at 140K. Let's see Toyota do that

Same. And for some reason I end up with plaid shirts and khaki columbia pants when I get out...

I've seen people with 2 seats in an STI. These cars are actually surprisingly roomy. I'm impressed!

Well, then your mom is hot!

    They changed hosts?! WTF????

Yeah... It'll just remain a dream. It would probably be cheaper to do a 6x6 conversion on a Tacoma...

After I read all the BS about Hennessey being shady with customer cars I'd be so reluctant to have them do work. Hopefully they have changed their company since.

I found another water leak in my truck right at the top center of my windshield. No idea if it's the windshield or the sunroof but I'm not amused. Only a drip with a deluge right on the top, but I will have to get it fixed. I swear that windshield is the bane of my existence right now.

Hey Mike, have you had any other issues with it? Have you had the common 3rd gen probs?

You mean the 2nd geners trashing on the 3rds? But in all seriousness he has the manual, those have not been or have not seemed to have the issues that the autos seem to have.

What about the diff issue? Or crank shaft position sensor?

    Not trashing, seriously inquiring.

    :rolls eyes: It's SO bad.

I have the diff howl although it doesn't bother me. I figure until I read reports of doffs failing I'm not worried about it.

The motor is garbage compared to the 2G 4.0L but overall it's completely reasonable. If they made a linear power delivery flash that wasn't aftermarket it would be perfect.

I bought the stick because of the issues with the AT but I didn't like the 2G AT so there's that.

That being said, if my 3G had the same mods my 2G had it would be a no brainer. With the tech package it's just a much better truck than the 2G from an everyday usability standpoint. Sunroof, heated seats, nav, etc.

    That's merely my opinion tho.

If it wasn't the 2nd windshield put on the truck I'd be happier. Chain shop #1 did aftermarket glass and scratched up my truck. It leaked like a sieve. Chain shop #2 did an OEM, apparently had to do a , more marks and it still ended up leaking a bit. Chain shop #3 resealed the windshield and it was okay but still had a day it was a bit damp. They went all over it again and it didn't leak again after the second visit. Now I'm seeing some drips (minimal) from the top by the mirror under heavy water. I've seen it twice now, once overnight on a heavy raining day and then today after hitting a decent puddle that put water onto the windshield / roof. Normal rain it's fine, so I'm a bit lost. I'm going to hose it down this weekend and figure out what's what. I'm grumpy though, obviously. I wish I could change vendors but the warranty / guarantee is all through the same company and I don't want to shoot myself in the foot.

While underpaid for my production, one good thing about my role is I'm pretty much insulated if layoffs ever happen

Again from what I gathered, most of those were autos, and even OR from I remember. I can't stay in those threads as if I do, I'd think my truck was going to blow up any minute.

Honestly I think I head the howl once, but couldn't repeat it, so I figure it was a TW sickness. I have been reading about the OVtune and it seems that it is taking care of a few issues folks are having with drivabilit, again nothing that real stands out to me at this point. The only thing I ever notice is sometimes between shifting from 2nd to 3rd or 3 to 4th, it acts like I forget to press on the gas, to the point of slightly moving me forward. Again I can't produce if trying, but it's definitely more so when RPMS are 3k plus.
