Haha, pretty sure my truck has the same lights as yours. Low beams and fogs for the slow stuff and highs for the fun stuff. Oh and I just meant I haven't done a night run this year.

ya I didn't find them the best when we were in ardbeg at night.

Its not so much ahead, I think something pointing more to the side would be best. like some ditch lights.

They aren't that tall but very long. No different than having two cases side by side. It would be heavy to have to take it down. I think they work to carry stuff you might not need very often, maybe pop it open to grab one or two things.

Fucking love my ditch lights. Even on the road you feel so much safer being able to see the ditches and the fucking deer.

This is what I am planning when I get my bed bars made. The case will then attach to the bed bars, and open outward to give me access to the goods with in.

since I'm picking up my bed rack next week I'm not as concerned now for storing gear.

Figure hilift mounted on one side
    treds on the other
then have a plano tote at the end of the bed by the tailgate with all my straps etc

Figure I have some chain with grab hooks, two snatch straps, tree saver, winch extension line (from ARB kit), dampener, some shackles.

Lights I’m just using some Amazon specials. Think they were $20 or $30 for two 4 or 6 led pod lights.
