    I would keep the packaging and cards even if you are using them. That way if you do ever decide to sell them you have everything that came with them.

    I've never seen it worth less without, but it would be disappointing to not get it, and should be disclosed before everything is settled. For certain patches it also can serve as a piece of authenticity

    That's what I do. Keep any backing, art cards, bags. If I resell, it all goes back the way I got it and on to the new owner.
