(although those quarter panels look like they could use some protection......haha) Powder coat just like all paints of that type are hit or miss as far as how they hold up in "extreme" conditions,. meaning anything other than normal. Especially colder climates and those with snow. Let me know what we can do to get a set of sliders on the truck

 

@Pelfreybilt Any idea when the 3rd Gen high clearance with swingout is gonna release? Been waiting patiently for a year already

 

Great info on this thread, extreemly helpful. I just started to build out my new Tacoma TRD Pro and called today to order some sliders and a bumper. Very friendly and helpful person on the phone but the lead times are unacceptable. 3 months for sliders? Local fabracator is only 3 to 4 weeks out for about the same price. I guess they might be worth the wait, but how in todays modern age of production would it take that long? Track homes are built in 3 months. Is the lead time true or just way out to cover not upsetting a customer?

 

We appreciate your review but we have a ton of open orders on just sliders alone so we have to keep the lead times long as we cannot account for delays in steel shipment, fabrication equipment error, customers changing orders and causing a delay in the lead time for others, etc. We do not have our build time streamlined yet so 12 weeks is what we are quoting. A local custom shop is not doing the volume of armor we are doing daily so they may be able to get the job done sooner, although I would definitely agree our armor is worth the wait! We would love to have a shorter lead time and are working every day to shorten it. If we had less orders open for sliders we would mist likely be able to go back down to our old lead time of about 6 weeks and that's what we are shooting for! I thank you again for the review and if I could offer you a shorter lead time I would without a doubt but I cannot offer that at this time.

 

We are working on the gate latch system now! As soon as the latch system is complete we will be able to start getting the gate together and redesigning the rear or accommodate it, its gonna be awesome!

 

Same thing I heard a year ago lol! Well Can’t wait to see it done. I’ve been waiting almost 2 years lol!

 

Just ordered the aluminum front bumper with center hoop, lead time was about 4-6 weeks, should be arriving soon. So far customer service has been great, only issue I had was having to deal a lot with shipping (freight), there were multiple emails and transactions to get it done, instead of one click order and ended up being more than I thought based off of the site. Even with the complications, every person I talked to was extremely nice, professional, and prompt with their responses. Another thing I would like to see is a lower hoop option, kind of like an LED hood on some models. Other than that I'm extremely excited and can't wait to post all the pictures after installation.

 

I have front and rear bumper plus all the skids ... great product and prices. Everything looks good and lines up perfectly. Only 2 things one should be an option to leave the rear bumper w/o cut out for those who don’t wanna install rear lights and the 2nd would be nice if you guys opened up 1 sat a month for those who wanna pick up and can’t make it during the week.

Thank you for all of your patience, we are experiencing tremendous growth which is great, but it also comes with all the growing pains!

 

Normally if we can we will have a Saturday or Sunday open (for limited hours) but typically we do not. We have done customer pick ups from our residences though on the weekend, if that helps!

 

Didn’t know , that would hav even cool but I was on the clock when I went to grab my stuff so everything worked out fine... you guys doing a meet and greet at the new shop any time soon?

 

We are planning a big open house sometime early next year but have too much going on right now to know when that would be.

Right, except for the unnecessary holes that you cut for your brand logo in the ifs skid.

 

These are much smaller than that huge door and have already been accounted for in the design, but we appreciate your feedback!

 

Here pretty soon too I imagine, happened after we designed our Tundra front with the smaller hoop on it!

 

Whether or not they are smaller than the door is irrelevant- it is still weaker than the same skid without brand holes. I don't see how you accounted for anything in the design, you just added additional holes to your old design, which was otherwise left unchanged. You're still contradicting yourself by saying that you prefer that the skids have as few holes as possible, and then you add unnecessary holes.
