Sorry if this has been asked and answered but I've been researching tires and am noticing that frequently, the OWL tires are about 1 - 3 pounds heavier than the BSW. Can anyone explain this?? I have a very hard time believing that there is three pounds of paint on each tire for the white lettering?? Am I missing some other difference in the two tires??

    Thanks!

Need some examples. Are you sure the tires are the same size and load rating?
