I'm thinking of leveling to get a bit more aggressive stance and I think I have a little extra sag in the front end because of the Ranch Hand. That said, I really, really don't want to loose any acceleration or cornering and would like to stay relatively cheap. Any thoughts on what to do?

I have a 3” pro comp lift with icon coil overs and I love it. Handles better than stock in cornering. Maybe not as cheap as your looking for but I’ve tried a few shock/strut options and they all were subpar until I hit the icons.

    Good luck to you BF99D4DF-9523-4355-B535-64BC7719B56C.jpg2190E3C4-0E0D-4111-A5FF-DAD2A8AABB6F.jpg

Your Ranch hand weighs vertially nothing. Its not going to cause a sag.

A lift will not hurt accelleration.

There are plenty ofevel kits out there. Search around to see what one is right for you.

Thats a really good looking truck!

Mind if I ask how you like the headlights?

Any extra wiring for the fiber optic tube to work?

Accidentally posted this in the 1st Gen section and got sent home without an answer... I am curious what coil to get for my 2013 TRD Off Road? There seems to be options ranging from 883 through 886? I am setting up General Spring HD pack in the rear with 5100's all around. Wanting to keep as close to stock height/ level as possible. 65k miles on the truck, not sure if I should just keep original stock coils for this setup or go ahead and get new ones? Any advice appreciated. Cheers

One of your more affordable options would be getting Bilstein 5100s for the front and raising them to the first notch. I think it's like 0.85" or so. It's a very common method of lifting and people seem to like the 5100s.

You'd probably be fine with reusing the stock coils at 65k. If you wanted to upgrade, I'd give a call to Marie at Headstrong Off-road, or I believe it's Dan at Wheelers Off-road. They should be able to set you up with something close to stock height.

Thank you. I’m adding little things like that when I can. I’ve really enjoyed working on my build.

They are projector headlights and they work great. No issues at night at all with them. They were plug and play setup. So no extra work at all. The only thing I don’t like about them is that the led you see in the pic only come on with the switch in the headlight position. It would have been awesome had they been the driving light option. Can’t have it all I guess.

Appreciated the replies. Just want to level out the little bit of lift that I will get from the General leaf springs pack. Seems like a good time to go ahead and do shocks all the way around. Maybe Ill just stick with the stock coils for now.
