I like my headlights and ditch lights but lately ive been thinking of swapping these morimoto fogs out for another pair of amber pods.

Would that be too much amber light?

The headlights and fogs/driving lights are both supposed to be 5500k according to their respected sources. Clearly not. Slightly urks me when i see the difference.

heads and fogs installed at the exact same time?
    HID colorshift with use.

    same wattage fogs and heads?

    is it just the angle?

They were both installed within a month I would say.
Headlights are 5500 - 35W from morimoto from TRS

Fogs I'm not 100% sure on the wattage 5500 morimoto. doesn't say on the website.
Funny now that I look back at the site, the taco in the pics for the fogs has non matching headlights and fogs also.
Maybe it's just the difference between HID and LED?

    Thanks man.
I love the output of the fogs for sure. Definitely makes for better night time driving.

These little pods throw some serious amber light though. They are spots and would def need to be floods or combo beam down low for coverage.

If you're already gonna go with amber pods in place of fog lights, why not just get a light that can easily be ran as white or amber with addition of a protective shield that is amber in color? Then you can still end up with a wider beam pattern, a brighter light (although no street legality), and both amber and white options.
