I feel like I have done my research here on TW and elsewhere on the interwebz. I think I am making a good, educated purchase that fits my needs and tastes.

However, there might be something I do not see. Will you guys let me know if my wheel/tire combo will rub or cause any other problems?

    - I have stock TRD Off-road suspension and no desire to change that.
    - Stock tires are 265/70/16

    ABOUT TO BUY

    Wheels: Level 8 Mk. 6 (Bronze) 17x8 -10
    Tires: Falken Wildpeak AT3 265/70/17

    Thanks!

You should be good. I had gotten a similar set up for my dad's 2nd (gen just with Cooper ATP's) and he didn't have any rubbing issues.

That would be a good fit and look great. It's also a great buy.

Make sure you're buying from a reputable tire dealer. Just saw another thread with a link to the Falken Wildpeak site saying there's a warning for illegally repaired tires being sold as new.

No need to concern yourself with this if you purchase through DTD

We appreciate the opportunity at your business, mantis - let us know if you have any further questions.

Thanks for the heads-up! I plan to purchase through either Discount Tire Direct or my local Discount Tire.
