From China I doubt it is a Factory OEM Grill, they are known as the Worlds biggest counterfeit area in the world

The Faux Pro don't have the safety sense panel under the Toyota letters.

    Seems legit.

It looks OEM, but as you said, the price doesn't. Also it ships from China, making it more questionable IMHO.

    --

The (known) replicas ones don't have the same internal supports (see the filled in center areas on OEM) and the Toyota emblems are off:

The Chinese are famous for back-dooring OEM products made in china. I wouldn't buy it on principle.

Having said that, I recently had to replace a backup sensor on my '16 Tacoma and all I needed was the retaining ring. Toyota wanted $239.00 (sensor and retainer together) and flea bay had them for $15...China was the lesser of the two evils in this case so I went that route.

    Haha yes! I'd rock that. Better yet, I'd take a "B O Y O T A."
OP, if it claims to be OEM, buy it and then dispute it upon receipt of its a phony. At that price you can't lose especially with eBay's buyer protection.

Seriously? I mean I dig the PRO and all, but it isn't like it's some exotic limited production masterpiece.

It's a mass produced vehicle from the same production line, it just has a few options added. Just like a TRD OR isn't anything more than an SR5 with a couple options. Or buying a TRD Sport hood to put on another model. Who cares? It's still just a Toyota pick-up truck.

If Toyota never made the PRO, I would have bought an SR/SR5 grille. For most people I'm sure it has nothing to do with wanting others to think you own a PRO model, it's about ditching the chrome TRD grille.

I suppose the rally wheels on my '66 Chevelle means I'm trying to fool people into thinking it's a '63 split window coupe Corvette.

Yep...you offended all the Chevelle purists...especially if it's an SS. Poor form. Or even worse...if it's not an SS and you put SS badges on it. Oh man!
