Just bought a house and money is kinda tight so trying to figure this out on my own. Last couple of days, the truck just seems to be off a little. Yesterday, it had this tapping sound when driving it. Today, it's raining so I can't hear that sound anymore but still seems off. When I am stopped and accelerate, I feel this small vibration. Then as I'm driving, the ride seems just a bit rough as if I'm driving over the shoulder warning bumps. I also noticed that it seems to take just a bit more to accelerate.

First thing that came to mind were the spark plugs, but I don't have any warning lights. Could that be the issue or any other thoughts as to what to check for?

All stock. I've pretty much changed the oil and filters myself since I got it. I did take it to Toyota a couple of weeks ago for the leaf spring recall and they checked it over saying everything looked good.

check your lug nuts. For ujoints it can be hard to tell but if they are really bad you can crawl under the vehicle with the truck off and in park or first gear and try to move the driveline. It shouldnt have any play in it at the ujoint.

The only good way to check the u joints is to remove the drive shaft from the truck and manually and visually inspect for tightness or looseness in the joints or needle bearings coming out of the caps.

So I'm driving myself crazy trying to figure out what the problem is. The more I search on TW, the more issues I find that can cause it. I read about greasing the driveline, but having a PreRunner found out I don't have zerks. I read about cleaning the TB and MAS, but I'd say my truck runs pretty smooth as it idles at 500-600rpm and gets about 350 miles per tank even with stop and go driving. I got under the truck and checked the CB as best I could and it didn't seem like it was the issue. So here's a breakdown of everything to see if anybody can offer any suggestions

Issues (started happening within the past week or so):
Shudders when accelerating from a stopped position.
You can hear a light rattling when accelerating
Ride gets slightly rougher right between 50-60mph

I just had my tires rotated and balanced. They did say that the tires were a bit off balance, but that did not seem to fix the issues
Had a new spring kit put on a month ago due to the recall. Noticed that on the multipoint inspection, they mention "lower ball joints leaking grease. Sway Bar end links broken". Could those two issues be the cause?

Recently changed the oil and filter. This weekend will be replacing spark plugs and cleaning TB.
