    12' trd offroad access cab
    Hi Folks,
first post here, my name is Dave and I drive a 12' tacoma trd offroad access cab with just shy of 150k on it.
Im a carpenter , so there is always a good amount of weight in the bed, table saw, chop saw, compressor, bunch of cordless stuff, hand tools , materials, ect. I'm also running a fiberglass cap.
When I'm not working the truck , its being used to haul multiple sea kayaks around, camping gear , another words, there is always a good amount of weight in/on her.
My stock suspension has settled considerably.
Also, with the stock suspension, my low beams seem to piss off other drivers because my bed is weighed down chnging the angle of the lights.
I would like to beef up the rear suspension to address these issues and adjust the front to match. mabe go up to 265/75r16 as well. it does see light off road use, i.e. going down unmaintained roads to get to kayak launches, trail heads, camping spots, and not to sound trendy but overland/cross country travel.
i don't want to lift it too much, mpg is a concern, i drive a lot.

    thanks

@HeadStrong Off-Road has all the answers you need.

Hit up Marie and she will get you all of your questions answered.

I suggest 5100's all around with OME springs and a AAL. That will get you your slight lift and not sag with the back loaded up with your gear

An AAL for that kind of load is a waste of money.

Completely true. I re-read all of his stuff and missed where he said he had a fiberglass cap and sea kayaks. AAL wouldn't do anything but add a very small load capacity.

    Sorry!

If you're looking for better ride quality we can also custom tune all the shocks for your added weight and the rougher terrain you're driving on.

You can't tune OMEs, and he's not mentioned shopping for performance coilovers.

Little misleading to word that way to a guy who is new to the scene, no? Especially since most people get "tuned" with a standard valving and don't customize anything for their trucks.
