Hello -- I am replacing all the shocks on my 2005 Tacoma (4x4 dbl cab, longbed) with 200k on it. I bought a set of Bilstein 5100's from Amazon ($380 for the set). I am having trouble though finding replacement coil over springs. Well, it's easy to find them if I want a lift, but it's proving impossible to find them if you don't want a lift. I assume this is a common question and I've searched this forum and found similar threads, but what always ends up happening is all the suggestions are for springs that offer a lift. Thoughts? I would love a link or a model number of something to go of. Cheers!

Old Man Emu springs ride much nicer than stock springs and come in many lengths. There are many members on here running OME springs with no lift. For the double cab long bed V6 4x4, I believe the correct spring for you is the 883. Start your search there.

Many people think that each spring gives X" of lift period. Not true. It's totally weight dependent, so stock configuration and modifications to the truck come into play. As an example, my access cab V6 4x4 got 2.5" of lift from 885 coils. The weight of my skid plates and winch brought that down to about 2". Many people will tell you those springs give 3" of lift.

Aren’t people who did lifts selling their stock springs on eBay, Craigslist, etc?
