hey guys so I bought a used swaybar off a Tacoma and it's 27mm thick. My truck didn't have a sway bar from the previous owner. I wanted to buy the bushinings for the frame mount and the end bar links that go to the control arm. I already purchased the brackets that hold the bushings to the frame from Toyota.

    Specs on truck
    2004 pre runner
King coil overs set at 2.4 lift
    286/75/16

I keep getting different links online and I was hoping someone could help clarify which ones I need?
I wanted to buy energy bushings for the frame but they don't make end links. Any help would be appreciated as I'm trying to get the parts and install before November 3rd (road trip) thanks again .

    -update-
(Just purchased the bushings for the frame, just need endlinks)

I would use the factory frame pivot bushings becqause they have a feltish lining for a quite smooth opperation. The "High Performance" bright plaastic ones make more noise in my opinion... everytime the lower a arm moves the the sway bar moves and it forces the sway bay backwards slightly and can create a bang/thimp/call it what you want noise.

I bought some end-links from RockAuto in 2013 and 2014. Had a problem with one of them (the ball came out of its fitting). RockAuto promptly issued me a refund. I paid $25 apiece in 2014 (plus shipping).

I think the shaft on all sway bar end links is too small for rugged, off-road use. I've broken 3 of them so far, and they break right where the round shaft changes into a hex fitting. :( Don't see why they are made with such a small shaft diameter.

When I installed the first ones in 2013 I torqued the top nut to spec, leaving the rubber bushings rather flat and without any give at all. When I installed them in 2014 I didn't torque them at all. I tightened them so the rubber bushings were squished to about 1/2 their original height and so far, so good (knock on wood).

I've never broken one. But then again, I just took my swaybar off entirely...

For rugged off road use, they limit wheel travel/articulation, and as you've found out, tend to break. I don't even run one on the road any more. Sure, it's got a tad bit of body roll, but it's a lifted 4x4 truck, I don't expect it to corner like a Lotus. :)

If you're dead set on keeping a sway bar (fast desert runs n stuff), I'd custom make some end links using heim joints or something. Or, get a proper sway bar kit built for desert running.

So I pruhased a set from rock auto (moog) with the zerk fittings. I won't have my sway bar on when I go wheeling it's more because it's my daily and I drive a lot so just trying to improve the daily drive. Eventually I'm just gonna make a heim link for the ends. Thanks for the info I'll make sure not to over tighten them.
    Thanks guys!

Full disclosure: I didn't take my sway bar off (full time) until my truck wasn't a daily driver anymore.

@Kens04Taco I just took my sway bar off a few weeks ago, I think I still have the parts lying around if you need the end links. I'll check this weekend, we can meet up and I'll just give them to you if I still have them.

edit: nm looks like you already bought them lol. I haven't noticed hardly any difference with my sway bar off and I DD my truck every day. The 600lb coils on the Kings seem to compensate for it pretty well.

I get some pretty heavy body roll and it was worse with the smaller tires? Lol
