Seems to be the same as the Overland Pros "wraptor 2000" foxwing, but at a better price. The way the legs attach and everything seems to be identical so I am pretty sure its the same.
    Theirs is $350
    http://www.overlandpros.com/index.php/product/wraptor-2000/

I have one of these Wraptor awnings and it gets the job done pretty well, and for $270 it would be even more attractive.

Good group buy! I am considering picking up another through this thread..

You weren't kidding. Yeah, maybe a rope to keep it at a 90 degree angle or something.

Nice. Could very well be from the same manufacturer.

As soon as I get enough commitments. I'm still talking to the manufacturer to see what the minimum can be for decent pricing. I'll update the OP as soon as any more info is available.

Anyone have the measurements yet or did I miss that? A couple of the pics posted make it look pretty small compared to some of the others. In the previous comment of it looking similar to the Raptor 2000, I’d much rather have the extra space even if it’s a little like the Raptor 2500. It’s like the Foxwing Eco 2.1 with a length of 79inches verses the regular Foxwing Awning with a length of 98inches but both providing 270 degrees of shade. Just looking for a comparison. Obviously the price is amazing!!

I just received mine. Only had time to unbox it. Aluminum channel to mount the awning is bent pretty bad from shipping damage...Bag/cover is definitely over sized and will be damage by highway speeds over time, I think I have some simple ideas to correct this. I think i will be able to straighten out the mounting rails ( i hope since its aluminum)

Overall for the price i AM SUPER HAPPY the YKK zipper is AWESOME! and the thing is very light. I hope to have it mounted with pictures tomorrow.

EDIT: the awning (the cover at least) is pretty much 7' long

I used straps. Even at freeway speeds it was flopping around everywhere. Off road I can imagine will be worse. It’s solid now.

To show how saggy it was. Prior to the straps it was touching the bedside.

Hopefully it's not too bad. Let me know when you get it mounted up.

That looks great with the straps. Do you have plans to mount the awning higher or will you be keeping it that low to the ground?
