Added a Relentless Fab tail gate reinforcement had to drill out the upper bolt holes to clear the factory bolt shoulders other than that it's a perfect fit. I am really impressed with this reinforcement it makes the tailgate feel like a tailgate lol well worth the money! Also installed an EZ down took the cable off and added a kink to it and beat the crimp and top mounting point flat and it works perfect and makes the wife happy! Last but not least I resealed the front of the camper today and added D-rings to the bed mounting bolts then cut the bed mat to access them. It's nice to finally have cooler weather can't wait till my Alu-cab kitchen comes in and I can install it and my water port and finish building out my camper while it's cool! PS it's also nice to know I look like Sloth's cousin in the reflection of the weird azz Alu-cab glass!

With my '06 (at stock height with stock tires/wheels) I also removed my steps. #wifey (even at 5' 4") preferred no steps; all they did was get our pants wet/dirty in the winter months.
...now with the lifted '15, I'm not sure she'd like not having steps. I rarely use them myself, but I certainly can't have one on the passenger side only!

Mine is level At the moment have bilstein 5100’s on gunna lift more when my stock tires die out. The gf is 5’1 and I’m 5’5 so if she can’t get in when I lift it more I’ll put the steps back on

We weren't doing anything at that time. Mark was looking around making sure his truck wouldn't hit anything. At this time we determined a small tree was gonna do more hard than good so we cut it down.

 

I have the MobTown tailgate reinforcement plate and I think getting some of those EZ down struts is going to be happening in the near future. I've actually told my kids to not try to open the back since it's so much heavier and I'd feel terrible if my 10 or 6 year old got smooshed by it.

 

I'm level with 5100s and my steps are great for my 7yo daughter but I step over them all the time. Unless I go higher, I'll be deleting them at some point.

 

Took the Tacoma to Keene New Hampshire this morning to visit some old friends not too bad of a trip going up on the way home rain all the way got 22 Mph to the gallon at 65 miles an hour using cruise control

Last time I checked you could get a case on eBay for around $35 shipped.

If they are the factory style lugs, Wheelers sells a quality black one. I've had them on my truck going on four years and they still look great!

 

I wanna go higher just have to wait til I get new tires to do it would look silly with stock tires on

 

Since I have no idea when the previous owner of my truck replaced the differential oils, and I've put about 20K on her since I bought her last year, I crawled underneath and swapped out the rear diff oil before the rain started yesterday. Man, I never realized how horrible gear oil smelled! Took all day to get that smell off my hands. First time I've ever done this, so shout out to @brianr for the easy how-to writeup! Now to find time to do the front diff and t-case before the snow starts flying...
