I picked up some 16X8 Method NV rims and 265/75/16 BFG KO2 tires in June of this year from 4wheel parts.
I had them mount and balance them and I figured that would be the end of it.
It wasn’t, after a few thousand miles I noticed increasing vibrations on the road. I finally couldn’t take it anymore and went to America’s Tires to have them looked at. I knew things weren’t good when they asked me to come into the shop with them and have a look at the balancing and what the machine was reading. Of course all my rims and tires were completely fucked and unbalanced hence the reason why my truck felt like shit while driving. There were weights everywhere and several of the guys working there wanted to know where the hell I got them done since it was pretty bad.

They guys at America’s tires were pretty cool and balanced everything for me free of charge.

My question now though is upon further inspection I noticed each rim has different amounts of weights. One has 2-3 weights another 6 weights and so on. Shouldn’t this be pretty close to equal all the way around?
Should I take the truck back and have them dismount and rebalance everything?
    Or am I overthinking this?

An honest response would be greatly appreciated.

Your over thinking the different amount of weights thing. They will be different! The other thing, if you look at reviews, the KO2’s are know for having balancing issues. If they feel good now your ok. AT prob got them right.
