1996 tacoma

Hi ! The motor went in my 1996 tacoma, i installed one from a 2001 with coils instead of dizzy, i was wondering if anyone done anything similiar, i have the donor truck and the ecu. On the ecu's the connector that comes from the cab is not the same, along with the connectors clipped on the glove box, should i just splice same color wires together or is there any other tricks ? I am trying to save myself from swapping the whole interior wiring !?
