I have a flow master40 on my truck. Now dont get me wrong, it sounds pretty good, but it isnt really that loud. What are my options to increase my trucks roar?

I priced some TRD headers, they are spendy, but Im about to order them. I can afford it, but I was just wondering if there is somthing else I can do?

I left the CAT, and I plan to keep it that way.

There is a CAT called a free flow CAT I got one recommended to me, looks like a CAT from the outside but in the middle just has a straight pipe, hence the "free flow" name. Should make it a little louder.

Had it for about 3 months. I have noticed a slight increase in volume. But it wasnt near as deep as I thought it would be.

It sounds good, but just doesnt have the roar I was looking for.

yes i agree mine took about 4 months to get the sound i wanted out of it. you could put a glass pack and a flow to make it louder.

Do you know if it is legal? For o2 sensors and what not, I own my company and the EPA already is on my throat enough because we create to much composite dust ( build aircraft parts).

One more thing for them to nag at me would be a shit hole

Ive heard that before. I wish I wouldnt have jumped into putting the 40 series on there. Im sticking with the 40.

I got bigger piping coming out, im sure that helped a little bit.

The free flow CAT is legal Im pretty sure. The guy that told me about it said it is made to pass inspection, although I think that NC is the only state that does inspections though, which is gay, just another thing we have to pay the state for! But im pretty sure that it is legal. May want to do more research though.
