So...what to do after a few runs of Zelda? I'm looking forward to Super Mario, but that is a long way off. I tried Shovel Knight based on high reviews, and it was crap.
I am now playing "I am Setsuna" and it is pretty good actually. It is a turn based RPG, kind of retro. Compared to Zelda it is maybe a 4/10, but if you don't expect a Zelda level game it is pretty fun so far.

If they come out with a Mario Party game (which I'm sure is just a matter of time, and will probably be announced at E3 in a couple weeks) then I'll buy a Switch. Until then I've got Breath of the Wild on my Wii U.

A couple runs? Holy sh*t, how do you do that? I got a lot of time into the game so far and i still feel like i've barely cracked it open.

I'm almost done with my second time around. I got all 120 shrines the first time, this time I'm focusing on any side quests I may have missed the first time. I'll probably go a third run, but maybe after a few months break. It's just so good I can't stay away.

Just beat Ganon last night. Still have probably 30 shrines to go and many side quests.

I was surprised how easy it was to beat Ganon, got it on the first try. Not that I'm complaining. I'm famous for playing through entire games and giving up on the big boss because they are usually so ridiculously difficult.

Ya it was a little underwhelming. I had to eat some big meals to regain health twice but never actually died. I also wasted a ton of arrows once he turned orange cause I didn't realize what i had to do at that point for a little bit. Then the "beast Ganon" was basically a joke.

Hint: There is a shrine inside of the castle, in case you didn't find it yet.

Seeing the third gen section forced me to get a Ford...
if you unlock the 4 beasts initially, it makes him way easier.

I didn't even realize for the longest time that one of the special unlocked powers was the high jump. That also makes things much easier!

Ordered Super Mario Odyssey 'pre-order' through Amazon Prime, instant 20% off. I also ordered Tiny Barbarian through Amazon as well with 20% off that as well.

Thanks, done! Odd it only applies to the physical version though? Oh well, I can wait 2 more days to save 20%, assuming it isn't instantly back ordered that is!

Started playing Super Mario Odyssey this weekend. Great game so far! Great movement mechanics, still learning what I can and can't do as far as going places. Worlds are cool so far from what i've explored. Seems like there is a TON of stuff to do in each world. Only logged a couple hours but so far thumbs up.

I played it all weekend. It takes awhile to learn the moves, but it is pretty cool and addicting once you start to figure it out.

I learned a pretty cool move from this short video!

I mainly play the switch in the handheld mode with controllers attached. i can't seem to replicate your jumping moves with the hat. I'm assuming the controllers need to be removed and motion controls in effect?
