    3k for the 3rd!? What's in it? 10"?
Granted I have a friend who runs a gear shop but mines 4:88 motive gears, polished, arp bolts, Yukon grizzly locker, 35 spline, big bearing, Yukon case, 1350 yoke.... it was like 1100$

This is what I am referring to. You can get very high quality Strange parts for a great price. Yes Currie makes great parts but they are very expensive for the Currie name...

pretty much the same build. I was a Yukon dealer at the time so it wasnt really $3k but to have mine built would be like $3k plus ;)

basically I called Yukon and told them build the nicest most bullet proof 9" 35 spline third you can. Spare no expense. If theres a place to add beef, add it. Ended up with a 3rd that has literally had zero issues. Well worth it IMO

Yea true but currie kinda is the only option besides rcv for getting custom length axle shafts( yea I know Yukon makes some too) currie shafts really arnt that expensive. But yea a 9" 3rd can get carried away quick

Strange case, Detroit locker, solid spacer, 35 spline and 1350 yoke $1550 shipped. Ordered my axles with my housing from camburg and they were from speedway FYI. But full float for the bro hoes of course. Don't you already have a 9"?

Love it. I mean it's noisy as fuck, but it's nice to be able to still drive it on the street without smoking tires. Biggest downside is how it loads/unloads on the freeway but I don't give a fuck cause it's not the daily

Yea I got a 9", fullfloat and all that cool stuff, same thing about the locker it's noisy and sometimes makes you look like a tard if you goose it to hard in the parking lot. Between shock noise, tire noise, drivetrain noise, exhaust.... brake noise, pivots.... if venture to say most people think I'm drivin around a big POS...... but hey it's my pos lol

Having seen the Detroit and Yukon locker next to each other... literally almost exactly the same. The Yukon is a lil cheaper I think in price. And the customer service and turnaround for parts and warranty is much quicker than the Detroit folks in my experience

I heard similar reviews on their air locker. Even that many internal parts are made at the same place...

Bushing crammed around the spherical bearing made mine a lot quieter. Still there, but it's better.

One caution. If you use the aux port to connect to your phone to play music, make sure the last thing you were playing/watching on your phone is not porn. Wife was not amused.
