Toyota Tacoma V6 3.4L

I cant find a V6 3.4L engine anywhere can anyone tell me where to get them from

 

local auto wreckers or the internets.

 

I wonder if I can put a Chevy 3.4 in my Tacoma

 

Tacoma's are allergic to Chevy's, it'll just spit it out


People have swapped the LS motor into their Tacomas before, I'm sure it can be done.

 

the time, money, and effort spent would be a waste

 

I’m looking for a cheaper way then to buying it for like 2 grand then having someone install it

 

If I want more power can a V8 go in my 2004 Toyota Tacoma TRD OffRoad truck

I've heard of people putting the chevy 4.3l v6 in 1st gens and supposedly they have more power and do great... those 4.3s are great motors

 

That Vortec has the same HP but has 260ft.lbs. torque where ours is only 220. That extra pull would be perfect in our truck as we're lighter.

 

Ya a few of my friends had the s10 with the 4.3 and I had the 2 door s10 blazer with one it it with 5 speed it done good

 

I doubt a Chevy engine is going to get 450k supercharged miles on it before needing a hg. @1997tacomav6 I got an engine and 4x4 trans / transfer case out of a running vehicle for $1400 and swapping it myself. Where are you located? Put it in your personal details so we can help you find a local deal. Jdm long blocks are $900 on eBay... add a used supercharger and that 4.3 will be blown out of the water
