    Hello,
Looking for best options for short bed Tacoma in Overland racks for use with a roof top tent.
    Things I'd like:
    -Full length of bed use
-Shorter height, I'd RTT height to remain close to level or below height of cab roof.
-Prefer to still have use of my OEM tonneau cover (at least it staying on, obviously not able to open)
    -All black, powder coat
-Side mounts for gear and add-ons. Rear mounts for LED light bar squares.

    Let me know the brands/fabricators.
    Thanks!

Look at Voodoo if you want to keep your tonneau.

    Great, thanks everyone.
    I was leaning toward the Voodoo's, they're awesome :)

What is the weight limit on the long bed 10" VS. the 18"?
And how does weight rating change when up on the tonneau brackets?

We (dissent offroad) will be releasing our all aluminum mid height rack soon.
This will fit with the tonneau cover, be full length, have accessory plates on the sides and look similar to our full height version just shorter.
The weight of the full height rack is 44lbs so the mid height should be around 30lbs.
The rack is completely modular with all nuts pressed into the aluminum, a full line of accessories are in the works as well. image.jpgimage.jpgimage.jpgimage.jpg

Yes, if your planning on carrying a fair amount of weight it is a good idea to run one. I will be offering these as well but there are a few companies out there that offer them. https://www.tacomaworld.com/threads/bed-stiffeners-options.483664/

CBI Offroad and C4 Fabrication also make racks.

I considered a rack for a long time due to cost, then after some trips down dusty dirt roads, I said hell no and will be getting a topper.

I've got a lot of great answers here thank you all.
I am pretty set now to get the VooDoo full length, mid height rack. It'll work the best for me. Now I just need a sale or bonus, which ever comes first :)

@Dissent86 and @KB Voodoo, thanks for making racks that work with covers. I am waiting on delievery of a Diamondback HD and then I’ll message you for a roof rack solution. Both systems look top notch.
