Got the TopRac last week, CabRac should be coming in this week, within a week or two of their estimated shipping date.
TopRac went on the shell yesterday. Hopefully the CabRac will be installed this weekend. All parts accounted for, though installation instructions could be much improved. It all came together eventually, but it was like one huge erector set with seemingly hundreds of screws, bolts, washers, nuts, etc.

I'm assuming you get them for buying a rack. I didn't pay for mine it just showed up in the mailbox.

Just got my Prinsu cabrac, there's a fairly noticeable gap near the back of the rack caused by the height of the spacers. Did I screw up and not notice that the spacers are different heights? Or is this just the design of the rack? I know the front runner rack sits fairly flush with the roof

Instructions from CBI. Remove two crossbars from rack. Slide plastic edge trim over edges of load panel. Slide load panel/edge trim assembly together into the tslot from the end on two crossbars. Reinstall 2 crossbar/loadpanel assembly onto rack. It's kind of a struggle to get it all back together on there and depending on the length and location of the plastic edge trim you may need to cut it up and slide it around to get the panel tight in all places so that it won't rattle. The clearance to bolt stuff onto the load panel between the roof is also pretty minimal (not a complaint that's a good thing!) so just be aware that you might want to bolt accessories down first before putting the crossbars back in. Other than that it makes a nice place to quickly and easily mount stuff without having to remove a rail to access the t slot and is nice and sturdy to stand on.

CBI claimed they didn't have different length spacers but I'm sure they do. Anyway I ended up just buying some elsewhere with a smaller OD for better weight distribution and different heights to get the rack sitting perfectly.

is anyone looking to trade a no cutout cabrac wind deflector for one with a 40" cutout? I found a rack locally on craigslist and is has the cutout deflector, and I'm not looking to run a light bar up on the rack right away.

Not really listening to their customers, you know the same ones putting these racks to the test.

    What's the difference in spacers?

What sizes did you end up ordering to increase the aluminum spacer outside diameter. Or did you just cut down to 5/8"?

Hmm, one of those is 7/8" tall and the other is 3/4" tall... how tall are the ones that come with the rack?

How far above the roof should these racks be? I have about 3/8 in the middle and rear and barely 1/8 At the front. Im almost thinking of buying slightly longer spacers for the front. ?

The higher you get the rack in the front the more wind resistance and noise you'll experience based on my personal experiences. I considered the same but ended up sticking w/ the spacers provided on my 3rd gen.
