I don't have hard evidence between my correlations but something seems to be going on.

If I go off a curb there is a clunk in the back passenger axle area it sounds like. Braking then seems to be less firm. Also when I pull the emergency brake, it clicks more times than usual.

So I then do the reverse, pull emergency brake a few times to get it adjusted and then all seems to go back to normal.

I changed the brakes and axle seals a few weeks ago. I am pretty positive I replaced the drum brake components right. Does it sounds like something inside the drum brake could be causing this?

More information is I did my OME lift a few months back and did not get extended brake lines, would this be causing it or nah?

    Pic for attention

    Pics.

Alpine ILX-107. Wireless Carplay. I get in the car and my iPhone connects wirelessly through the headunit's wifi.

    Rearview mirror with display.

Tailgate picture. I cleaned up the zinc primer around the camera orifice. The writeup will get a picture as it is now. Also, while I was considering places to mount the camera I had the rearview mirror near me so that I could look at results hence the rearview mirror held over the tailgate.

I'll explain in the writeup but my current car has it in the dash and I get disoriented looking at the rearview mirror, side mirrors, and down at the dash display. I loose my peripheral vision when I look down and the Tacoma's radio sits even lower in the dash than what is in my current car. In short, the rearview mirror and my peripheral vision give me the best overall rear view and looking down at the dash breaks that view.

Winter shoes mounted. Firestone Winterforce LT, 235/85r16 pizza cutters. These things sure seem insanely heavy but according to Firestone's specs are actually slightly lighter at 42lbs than the D-rated 31X10.5X15 Destination A/Ts I have. Go figure. I had them on my 4runner last winter and they rocked.

Next up I think the nerf bars are going to go.

No they're not. They are both receiving about the same amount of power at all times, yes, but the one will less resistance is the one that actually puts the power to the ground.

Hell yeah, man. And that scene is gold.

    yes they are.
one with more traction is putting same amount of power to ground as the one with the least will allow.

You're right. I was misunderstanding how the power limitation functions.

Anyone know of a paint that actually matches the 99 tacoma brown... I’ve tried matching it but apparently they look different inside...

That's a pretty solid shade of dookie brown. Id take a piece if the lower door cloth to match.

I took the square piece out of the drivers side arm rest, atleast it’s there in my 99 AC.

Are you saying cloth would be better cause it isn’t shiny or something?

Had this problem at Home Depot a lot, color matching is tough when the sample has a faded spot or a weird texture. The vinyl at the base of the door is hidden from sun a pretty flat.

That’s why I took the piece in... in the store it looked like a perfect match ha...
I guess I’ll just have to give that a try. Might just go back to Black, I guess the saying is true. It just shows sooo much dust....

The machine matches by photosensor in its own little lightbox, but yeah if you're matching by eye in a store it can be a shitshow.
