Does anyone with a blue ribbon metallic tacoma know of a great color matched spray paint? I'm thinking of getting a brute force fab standard rear bumper and spray painting it. Will it look close in color or should I just get it power coated to match? Or just paint it black?

Yeah that's true but I'm trying to see if other members with a blue ribbon tried using spray paint and how it turned out. Iv read that some of the spray paints don't match up well. Thanks for the link tho I'm open to any help.

My bet is they were trying to spot blend if they weren't happy with the match.... If you are painting another panel and your expectations are reasonable you will be fine with any of these pre-mixed spray cans (this is in my own experience I don't claim to be any sort of expert but have used similar cans ~20 times)

Another option is to go down to one of your local auto paint suppliers and have them match your paint directly and put it into a can (this may not be any better then buying a pre-mixed can?)

Do you have any experience with auto paint?

I actually don't have any experience with auto paint but I have rattle canned other stuff.

Thanks for the advice I'll probably just try a spray can it'll probably look fine.
