Like I said, with stock height I have no worries about possible drive line vibration issues, needle bearing failure, CV boot wear, spring sag or dropping the diff. You're not raising the height of the differential or transfer case so you're not gaining much ground clearance for what you're going to spend raising the truck up.

With stock height and only 1 up size on the tires, acceleration and mpg won't suffer much at all.

The stock tires will fit the TRD Pro wheels fine. The wheels might look a little aggressive for that tire but fitment shouldn't be an issue. If you install mudguards you might have an issue rubbing on them or the front wind dam if you up size to 265/70/17 tires later. I don't have either installed and have no rubbing issues on stock suspension height with that wheel and that sized tire.

No issues with rubbing with OEM mudguards and BFG KO 265/70/17 on TRD Pro wheels and no lift (I've since added a 1" lift to the front, while leaving the rear @ stock height). No idea, however, whether there would be any rubbing on the air dam, as I don't have one. I believe there would be rubbing on mudguards and possibly the air dam if you went with 270/75/17 with stock suspension.

Here's mine running BFG KO 265/70/17 on TRD Pro wheels and a 1" lift in front, no lift in rear.

I have KO2s and love the look of them on this truck. Ride is very smooth and I have not yet noticed an MPG drop. I do notice the truck is a little more sluggish now though

Sweet I think you just answered my question about the 265/70/17 with trd pro wheels rubbing on oem flaps. Did you do 5100s up front to level?

Yes, 5100s on all 4 corners. Up front I'm running Toytec adjustable coilovers with the 5100s. Cranked them up just enough to level the front with the rear, which ended up being ~1".

Doesn't putting the 5100s at .85 raise it an inch? Why did you add the coilovers?

I wanted precise control over the amount of lift. Also, the Toytec (Eibach) springs are matched to run with the 5100s, whereas the stock springs are not, not to mention that config is not supported by Bilstein. The ride with the Toytec/Bilstein combo is much better than the stock ride, IMO.
