Looking for a hard trifold cover. Does anyone on here have any personal experience with the rugged 2 hardcover. Looking for something that won’t leak as
Much when it rains. I know they aren’t 100% water tight.

I have one, minimal water gets in, I'd recommend to get the tacoma bed mat as well so the water can travel under your belongings without getting wet.

Thank you. I’m planning on getting the mat and the OEM cargo divider. What do you think about the one that flip all the way up to utilize the entire bed. I have mountain bikes. Is it heavy?

I do wish the last third by the rear window flipped up, only a couple times I could've used the space but overall works great. I've seen other versions that flip up but that was after i got mine. Not heavy, maybe 30lbs, easy to remove and install.

It seems they have a big problem with leaks. The rugged cover you don’t have to mess the bed rails. Thanks for the input

If you truly want water proof, then you might have to invest big in getting a decked system.
I only know one person here who has it. It's very rugged, but also very expensive.

    Like, so many.
Mine doesn’t leak much at all. It is harder to open than the OEM cover for sure though. I personally think it’s kind of s hassle. It’s easy to remove though.

With regards To the trifold with the cable. Does anyone know if they are easily compromised with a hanger?

I've got one, getting the anchors dialed in is the key to it not leaking. The 2 built in led lights are a nice bonus as well. My buddy has an extang solid fold 2.0 and it leaks pretty bad, also neither of us like the anchor system that extang has.

Thanks, looks like I’m leaning towards the Rugged 2. I have to think about the price over the last 2/3 being able to flip against the cabin. I usually only the the full bed for mountain bikes. I don’t use the taco for hauling big items.

I'm pretty sure they make bike brackets that work with the cover if that helps.
