Those look pretty sweet...I’m sure CVT’s rooftop tents are nice but just too pricy for my taste

These tents are pretty decent for the money. I had one and it stood up to whatever I threw at it.

Any details would be good- I heard a lot of good things, but you are right - you do get what you pay for. Just wondering if there’s anything to watch out for on this.

 

Too bad, but a good auto upholstery company could do it with canvas for the same price probably - the annex for these look very basic w/o a floor.

 

Yeah that is an option. I forgot about custom work. I will have to look into that.

 

Just wanted to add to this thread. I haven't received it yet but got off the phone the other day with smittybilt corporate and they are in fact making the annex right now for the overlander XL tent. Part number 2888. Will post pictures when I set it up to my Overlander XL tent.
