    $30 was cheep enough for me. Maybe some day I'll find the "right" topper for the right price and replace it but I think that is unlikely.

    I know there aren’t a lot of places for wheeling around Iowa so my buddy and I are taking our Taco’s to southern Missouri next week to wheel the fire service roads in Mark Twain National Forest and do some primitive camping. Pretty stoked. I’ve only had mine a couple months so it’s stock other than the cooper stt pros I just had put on. Should be plenty capable for where we’re going. He has a 15’ double cab sport with a lift and the same tires. It’s only about a 6 hour trip from central Iowa so super doable. I’ll report back with my findings and if it was worth a crap. I’ve seen some YouTube videos of guys wheeling and it looked fun. Here the new tires. 265/75r16’s because everyone asks lol. No rub

    Anyone know of anybody trying to get rid of a topper for a 5ft box? Going to Kentucky in a couple weeks for some wheeling/primitive camping and I’d like to get one before if I can...but I don’t want to drop 1500-2k on a new one lol. I believe the 2nd gen will fit on the third gen

    I was just reading and apparently the 2nd hens don’t fit worth a damned as the tailgate is different so the rear door doesn’t close as well. I’d like to buy one so I can haul my dogs around when I’m not camping and not have them in the cab. I’ve got an old English bulldog that’s white/brindle and she gets white fur everywhere and I have a 125 lb cane corso that drools everywhere at times lol

    Sometimes lol. The corso is a dog I rescued 6 years ago and was super aggressive when I got him. He’s 100% better than he was, I can take him around strangers and he doesn’t bite or anything but he hates other animals and I wouldn’t be able to leave him in there at the store or something without a roof
