    Hey all,

Going to install the Revolver X2 this weekend. For anyone that's done this, I have two questions...

On the Tacoma, should I leave the rubber pads at the front of the rail or remove?
    upload_2017-11-2_13-42-1.jpg
I have the stock "drop in" bedliner, but the following install video did not point out to remove them. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=oDk-tgXrW5c

Also, on the Tacoma supplemental install, it says to use the 3/4" bulkhead seal...
    upload_2017-11-2_13-44-40.jpg
But the above video used the 1/4". Would you please confirm the 3/4" is correct?

    Many thanks, in advance!

Is the OR different than any of the other SB's, is that why it is in the title? Trying to get as much info as possible to help, someone may know if there are different beds of different models (SR, SR5, Sport, OR, Limited, Pro). I have the original revolver and dad has an X2, both fantastic and an improvement over the old folding on we have had before.

I can't answer that question. I just put it in the title because that's the vehicle I own and am working with.

If your dad installed the X2, can he answer my questions?

    Thanks!!!!

Tacomas don't have drop in bed liners. The bed/box is plastic. There is no liner.

Ahhh... I honestly figured that there was a metal box underneath the black plastic, similar to most domestic pick-ups. Learn something new, everyday, I suppose.

That being said, keep the foam tabs at the front of the rails?

    Thanks for the tips!

Know which bulkhead seal to use?

    TIA!

I did call them. Their response for the tabs at the end of the rails was, "install the entire thing, if the gate doesn't close, take it apart, and pull the tabs off". Which was a tad surprising... I figured they'd know.

    That's when I posted.

Do not remove the tabs. They help fill the gap at the front of the bed. I don't remember which size seal I used at the front but I think it's was thinner.

Edit: follow the video. That's how I did mine. 1/4" seal

    1) Keep the foam tabs on rails - you do not have a Bedliner

    2) I think I also used the thinner seal on the front bulkhead
