17 tacoma beep when keys are left inside.

Do the 17 tacoma come with the feature that lets you know if you left the keys inside? I have the 17 off road double cab and it doesn't beep if I leave the keys inside, or am I missing a setting? My friends 2012 push to start altima beepa whem he leaves the key inside .Truck seems to be missing simple things that's many other cars have such that and also beeping when close to an object when reversing.

 

I also have a 17 Off Road and mine absolutely beeps when I leave the keys in it and try to lock the door

 

Maybe I'm missing something. Will try again when I get home and have spare key incase

 

Check the settings in the middle cluster that are altered by the steering wheel controls and only accessible when in park.

 

The truck wont beep, but does the long warning sound.
I know because I leave my keys inside all the time and try to lock it from outside.
