Hey guys, new here and have a dumb question. A friend of mine recommended that I get some 303 and treat anything black. I’ve got the pro and I’m assuming that does not mean the fenders, grill, etc. Would it be just the bed and knobs?

    Any advice is much appreciated!

I put 303 on everything that is not metal. Inside and out, I like the look of it on my tires ,makes them look new.

I remember using 303 on my soft bed cover several years ago when I had a 04 S10. It treated the vinyl nicely but streaked the sides of my bed when it rained. Im wondering what other products are out there because I am looking at doing what you are on my Tacoma. I will watch and see what others are saying.
That S10 is why I only drive Toyota products now. I bought it new and blew the engine at 20000 miles.

    LS1 swap with nitros.
Anything black or plastic. It has uv inhibitors in it to protect against the sun.

Just make sure after you apply it to wipe it dry with a clean/dry microfiber towel

Use on any plastic, I even use it on my headlights. You have to rub it in really well or it will streak. I’ll do several pieces, then come back and rub it in really well.....won’t streak even in the rain after that.

So another dumb question because it’s not totally obvious to me. Fender flares plastic on the OF/pro? The entire bed?

And do I need to tape off anywhere it might touch paint or is it ok as long as I wipe it off?

You can do the flares, bed, bed mat, tires, interior, headlights....no problems. No tape needed. You may want to be careful around windows, it’s a little harder to remove off glass.

    Tire sidewalls that is!

303 is very forgiving, if you get it on the painted metal just clean it off. I don’t tape anything off when I do my flares.

I would not do it on the bed as it makes it super slippery. I did my WeatherTechs once. That was embarassing.

303 outgases a bit though and you will end up with a bit of a film even if you wipe it off after application. You will need to remove that later.

I have been using 303 for many years and never had any issues with it.

303 on dash and plastic trim, black fender flares, black plastic on the front of the truck, rear black plastic, my black powder coated steps and Prinsu, and the list goes on. My truck has been driven hard 21k in 11 months and it still looks practically showroom fresh after a good wash and McGuire’s Quik Detailer along with a quick 303 treatment (with a good clay bar every few months). Takes me about 30-45 mins a week to keep it looking new and 303 is a big part of that
