    2001 tacoma prerunner
    Im having a problem with my 2001 Tacoma Prerunner. Recently I have been having a problem with my ignition key , it stops at Acc and will not lock so key can be removed. I tried changing the key cylinder and still the same result. I then discovered that if the battery is disconnected the key can be removed no problem. Any suggestions ?

    Sometimes key wouldn’t come out

    Swapped with new OEM key cylinder and works perfectly since
