'06 4L warning chime

    I'm new to the forum and this is my first question. I've searched previous posts but can not find an answer. I have an '06 access cab TRD Off Road 6sp. If I engage 4L the bell chimes continuously. Why? I also had difficulty disengaging as others have posted. My last Toyota was an '85 manual hubs and 4wd operation.

    While at a stop, truck in neutral, push the clutch down like you are trying to push it through the firewall. Then while the switch is at 4hi push it i and slowly turn to 4lo.
