Cargo net that goes across the bed?

I've seen several comments about cargo bars and cargo nets..... Maybe the answer is in one of those responses but I just don't see it. I'd like to find a slightly stretchy net the goes across the bed, not over the bed. Use it to keep things from rolling up into the bed of the truck, keep things near tailgate..... Any ideas?

 

There's an oem bed cargo divider. Pricey, but worth it.

A friend of mine ran one on his '13 and seems to find it useful

 

How does the divider work if you have other tie downs in the track? Can it be pulled out and moved around or do you need to have the track free of other things to move it about?

 

The tie downs can be removed anywhere on the track, so if one gets in the way just pop it out and then pop it back in.

 

Yeah bad example. Meant more of like tonneau cover brackets that can't be moved. Can the divider pop out the tracks to move it about or does it only slide on the rails?

Thanks! Looks like the divider itself can be removed but the brackets it sits on can only slide around on the rails. Someone posted a link to a ratcheting cargo bar that might work for what I need and 10x cheaper lol

I made one, bought two pieces of bungee rope and a piece of netting. Tied it to the bed cleats on the top and put little hooks through my bed mat with a washer and nut that hold the bottom. It was 12 dollars all in.

bungee rope and netting off of ebay. and hardware for a buck at the local shop.

I saw a post today that showed a someone used the trunk net from a Toyota Camry. He put d rings on the corners and clipped the bottom to the tie downs in the corners and he put L brackets up top and hooked the d rings to those.

I have one of the OEM bed dividers and find it useful for many things, but most of the time I have it removed and stored. Part of what I like about it is that in addition to being used as a vertical divider, it can be mounted horizontally and that may help to hold some things in the bed, to support a load at bed-top level while other stuff is underneath, or to obscure what is under it to discourage sticky fingers of passersby. The thing is expensive, but because I bought my truck through the Costco buying program I was able to buy the divider and the OEM bed mat from my dealer at 50% off list.

But more than the aluminum divider, I find my cargo net handy. And it can be used to restrain things from moving around as well as going over the load. The bottom edge can be attached to the D rings and the load placed on that part of the net while the top attaches to the movable cleats, if you catch my drift. I have had several cargo nets over the years, and found one that really stands out for quality -- a Spidy Gear bed net. The first one I had lasted 20 years, and would still be going if I had not used it on some equipment with a sharp metal edge. Just be sure to get the Truck Bed - Small size.
