What Have You Done To Your 3rd Gen Today?

My issue was that there was a 1/2" gap by the middle bolts (whatever that welded on tube is called), I had to lift the skid up with a jack, and then bolt it in. Lifted front wheels of the ground a bit in order to flex it!


So, my mistake, might have overlooked it in instructions...



It's installed now!

Yes, for transmission skid. I almost started to work on it today, but as mentioned, I'll try to visit a mechanic first.... Aaaand maybe an exhaust shop to reroute the exhaust in order to fit a Transfer Case skid (which should be here mid week ).

Seems like there's a vinyl geek on here somewhere that can make decals to cover the exposed wires. Just can't seem to remember his name.
But seriously there is some accordian type plastic oem style conduit at walmart that is great for protecting the exposed wires. Only like $4 for 10 feet of it. Looks better than exposed wires. Used on my hood and tool box light wiring.

 

Planning on new wheels soon. Does anyone know which wheels these are?

Yep, it's that time of year. Have one of those but a few times I just couldn't keep up doing 400ft of driveway. Get done with one half and the other half has 4-6 more inches...plus we mostly get the wet heavy stuff....so picked up small Kubota...blowers work great tho...
