Maxx Powell Youtube/Discussions/Meet Thread

Hey Tacomaworld. My name is Maxx Powell. Ive been on Tacomaworld for years now but i usually lay low and use you guys for all your knowledge and comedic commentary.

Like a lot of people these days I make Youtube videos focused around building and utilizing my Long Travel 3rd gen Tacoma as well as the entertaining and interesting aspects of my life. Im a Professional Firefighter, Army Veteran, Small business owner, Husband and Father located in Olympia WA. I also run an Instagram page thats 98.6% Pictures of my truck. @maxx.powell

Im creating this thread for a few reasons.

1. Shameless advertisement (sorry )

2. My Youtube and Instagram have grown a lot recently and im really starting to build an awesome community of people with similar interest. Id like to provide a thread we can all share info and organise meets and group runs.

3. Easy way to keep you updated on where im headed in case you'd like to meet up during our travels. Efficient way of organizing group meets.

4. Il post my build details and you can ask questions all day long

Any ways long story short im dedicated to producing high quality,entertaining, honest videos, weekly. My goal with my videos is to inspire people to get outside and explore more around them, be active, be a good person and to push past their comfort zones constantly. Awesome to hear back from you. I wanted to let everyone know about the Veterans Day Group Run i have planned. Were going to Tahuya in Belfair Wa. Theres no way of knowing for sure but ive had a decent amount of interest so i think there will be a good turn out. Every one is welcome! not just for veterans If you have any Veteran friends or family that would like to join us we would be honored to have them!

belfair has terrain for every body so bring what you got. Its cool if you wana do some stock mobbin

Heres the plan:
0930-1030 meet at the Safe Way Parking lot in Belfair WA This will give us time to meet and greet and allow the late ones time to trickle in.

1030. Drive to the Elfendahl Pass Staging Area located in Tahuya

1045 Hit Trails

1430 lunch / second meet at Elfendauhl Pass Staging Area Im thinking about doing a second meet time at the staging area around 1430 for folks that can only do a half day and want to meet latter or perhaps people that would like to dip out early.

Heres a few maps of the places im referring to. Im not super familiar with the tail system out there so we will have to play that part by ear.

Im in. Not sure if the wife and kid (14 mos) are coming yet. . .hopefully so. Been here once, pretty tame and enjoyable experience. TON of dirtbikes last time which kept us off some of the trails since we had about 15 trucks.

Ill be travelling from Yelm if anyone wants to meet up on I5 somewhere. Did this last time with some people.
