Work. Started go live at midnight Friday. I'm too old for this shit.

I hear you have all that and more, as I'm sure you do too. Leaves are frozen in place in the gutters and yard. But supposed to hit 40 next week for a few days. Went to use the hose outside and clean dog shit off a pair of boots and the hose was frozen solid. Too damn cold for working outside. It is taking me awhile to adjust this year, going to be a long winter.

Depends on bottom, if it is hard Canadian Shelf you have traction so not too bad. Mud not so much. And if I have been through it before when it was dry so I knew how deep it is. With all the beaver dams and heavy rains this year I would never got down any road, which is usually a 2 track, in the Arrowhead this hunting season.

Usually as long as you stay on the outlet side of a beaver dam it usually isn't a problem where I am most of the time. There is always a bit of ass pucker looking at the dam side and seeing water above your window though.

 

I think even then. I had an uncle in the Air Corp during WWII. He didn't quite have the "edge" as my other uncles from the Army and Marines from the war.

 

As long as you did the diff breather mod!!!

I did it because I love splashing through puddles

I was in 1RCR but never was in combat. Therefore am not a vet.

 

This is what we call a California crossing. It has a cement bottom and the creek flows over it as opposed to under it like a bridge.
The water was 18" deep
