Throw an Instagram filter to a photo like that and you can see how I thought I was snagging bronze. Not a bad problem to have by any means.

Don't get me wrong. The Matt Bronze were my first choice, I think the darker color would look awesome on the Inferno too. Hell, they really do look good on any color as we have all seen. I've said this many times too, "I think these wheels in any color look great on any color Taco".

But I had a hard on for the Coppers. Just ask Vin at @SCSPerformance. I got lucky when I recieved a PM from a member wanting to sell his new in the box set of 5.

Yea, no way can you go wrong with either but like I said, the Gold are even more elusive. You have a better chance of catching a unicorn.

Yea, and every device you use to look at that photo is going to have a different result too. At my job we use triple monitors and have to have them calibrated because even out of the box they have different RGB values without even adjusting things. You will only truly know once you see them in person, and even then they will look different in different lighting situations. I think the Bronze have more variations though because of the darker pigment in them. I have definitely seen photos of the bronze and thought they were more copper.

Honestly my other 3 wheels look a lot more light and maybe goldish. Of the 4 I have that is my favorite because it looks the most like copper! Everyone always calls my wheels gold though so I stopped fighting it haha

Vin posted these a while back to show the difference between copper (lower left) and gold (upper right).

Thank you for finding and reposting this. I knew it was out there. Regardless of device anomalies, this definitely shows how much different the two colors are.

Too close for my taste. Somebody get ready to snatch some dark bronze to trade for brushed copper. :D Either that or I'll try my hand at the paypal race at the end of this month.

I'll only sell if I pick up bronze to replace em.

Either that or powder coating is always an option... :anonymous:

In photos, they look close, but in person, there's a big difference in the actual shade. It's almost like 14k gold vs. 24k goldo_O.
